What I Have Learned About Leadership

This course has reshaped my understanding of leadership. I learned that leadership is not about authority; it is about influence, service, and vision. Leadership is the practice of guiding others toward shared goals while modeling resilience, integrity, and continual growth. I discovered that transformational leadership encourages empowerment and inspires teams to exceed expectations.

The Kind of Leader I Hope to Be

I identify most strongly with transformational leadership. I strive to be the leader who listens deeply, encourages innovation, and fosters a supportive culture. I want my leadership to inspire others to feel confident, valued, and supported. Transformational leadership aligns with my beliefs because it focuses on collaboration, big-picture vision, and the development of people, not just processes.

Leadership and Technology Integration

To lead effectively in educational technology, I must model a growth mindset and continuous improvement. I will apply leadership skills by:

  • Supporting teachers through tech integration

  • Offering hands-on training

  • Modeling the effective use of tools

  • Encouraging experimentation and reflective practice

  • Guiding teams toward digital transformation

As a digital leader, I will advocate for equity, innovation, and meaningful use of technology to improve student outcomes.
